Verse: Yet it was our pain that he bore, our sufferings he endured. We thought of him as stricken, struck down by God and afflicted. But he was pierced for our sins, crushed for our iniquity. He bore the punishment that makes us whole, by his wounds we were healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5)

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, You could have called on a host of angels to help you carry the cross; but You suffered this journey alone to fulfill the will of the Father. So many times, you have forgiven me and so many times I have fallen again. Jesus, I repent of all my sins. I love You with all my heart. Holy Spirit, grant me the grace to rejoice in my weaknesses and failures and to stay true to the will of the Father; that in all I do I may show the strength of Christ in me to others. Amen.
