7th Station - Jesus falls a second time
We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
Verse: Yet it was our pain that he bore, our sufferings he endured. We thought of him as stricken, struck down by God and afflicted. But he was pierced for our sins, crushed for our iniquity. He bore the punishment that makes us whole, by his wounds we were healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, you were so weak, and could have called on a host of angels to help you carry the cross. But you suffered through this journey to fulfill the will of the Father. I am sorry for the times I have been unwilling to suffer for you. Jesus, I repent of all my sins. I love you with all my heart. Holy Spirit, grant that I may endure all things and never rebuke or cry out against those who persecute me and trespass against me.
