3rd Station - Jesus Falls the first time

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise you. For by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world.

Verse: Who would believe what we have heard? To whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? He grew up like a sapling before him, like a shoot from the parched earth; He had no majestic bearing to catch our eye, no beauty to draw us to him. He was spurned and avoided by men, a man of suffering, knowing pain, like one from whom you turn your face, spurned, and we held him in no esteem. (Isaiah 53:1-3)

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, you suffered so much for me. It was not the weight of the cross, but the weight of my sins, that caused you to fall. You gathered what little strength you had and rose up to continue your journey to die for love of me. Jesus, I repent of all my sins. I love You with all my heart. Holy Spirit, grant me the strength to always rise up when I fall and to complete the Heavenly Father’s mission for me. Amen.
