11th Station - Jesus is nailed to the cross
We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
Verse: When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him and the criminals there, one on his right, the other on his left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” The people stood by and watched; the rulers, meanwhile, sneered at him and said, “He saved others, let him save himself if he is the chosen one, the Messiah of God.” (Luke 23:33-35)
Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, you willingly laid down on the cross like a lamb to die for me. Each time I sin, I pound a nail into your hands and feet. But you have forgiven me, as you forgave all those who tortured, tormented and executed you. Jesus, I repent of all my sins. I love You with all my heart. Holy Spirit, help me to avoid sin and love others; that I may lay down my life for the world, as Christ laid down his life for me. Amen.
Optional: Our Father...Hail Mary...Glory Be
